The last month has been a great time for me to explore one of my favorite foods -- Crab! Ever since growing up in Korea I have loved the excitement of putting on gloves and finding the meat underneath the hard shell. So I found baked crabs near Coney Island, then a variety of crabs, including King crab, nearby my home. A very nice client took me for soft shell crabs, which I had never had before and loved. And then I finished up with crab cakes a couple of weeks later.

I just love all the variety in New York City, but also I love doing a deep dive into something -- like crabs.
