I’ve heard some talk lately about how much some companions photoshop their photos. I actually think it’s an interesting subject. I think of photoshopping like make-up: I can enhance my own features, but I don’t change them – I wouldn’t want to! But make my skin a little more golden, or my hair more glorious? Of course!
Here are some examples of what I generally do with my photos. Of course I blur my face – that’s for privacy and to discourage copying. After that, some photos have their backgrounds cleaned up, like the one on the left, where I turned a guy into grass.
Sometimes I will press the “enhance” button to improve the light and shadow and color balance. The bathroom photo had a lot of the background removed, and then I enhanced the light on myself. In the beach photo I went for a bit more color intensity in addition to straightening out the horizon! Each time it’s a new adventure and a new approach.
But change what I look like? Never!
